The ultimate winter essential has to be a trench coat. Effortless style and oh so warm! I chose a woolen, charcoal, knee length coat to keep me cozy through the cooler months. Charcoal is a great tone to break up those winter blacks and to add another element to your outfit. A quirky camel colour works with those winter tones too. Not only does it bring colour to a cool outfit but it’s the perfect transition from freezing Winter to breezy Spring.
What’s a trench’s best friend? A felt hat, of course! Complete your Winter look with a hat that is the character of your effortless outfit. Proving that trench’s will take you from rain to shine, team it with a pair of flats as an alternative to your Winter boots. The trench is the staple piece that is worth investing in!

In all things fashion, trends make their way in and out of style… and then back in again! Just like this hippy, lace up number brought back from the 70’s – flared sleeves and all! This trend has taken off in the US and Europe and now its made its way to us in Oz. Although the 70’s were huge for floral prints and colours, this style has all the right vintage elements to work with a modern day, minimalist look.
The minimalist look is channeled in this look with dark indigo jeans and a sharp charcoal hat. But if you want to embrace your inner 70’s flower child then opt for this top in white, teamed with light wash, high waisted, flared jeans and a flower crown for the ultimate hippy vibe!
For a late dinner or drinks with the girls, team it with a pencil skirt, pointed patent heels and an elegant clutch, and you’ve made it from day to night. It’s a simple piece with some edgy touches, that make it perfect for creating lots of style options. Definately a staple worth the investement!
