Well Spring hasn’t quite sprung yet – but almost! And although it’s exciting to see what the new season holds in the big wide world of fashion, it can often be a challenge to transition from your Winter to Spring wardrobe.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll probably be wanting to hide some very sun-deprived, pale legs! Wide leg pants have definitely made a strong comeback into fashion in these past few months. The high waist and the wide cuffs create the perfect long legged illusion (yay for us shorties!). A sheer pair are perfect for Spring as they introduce softer fabrics while not showing off too much skin (it’s still breezy after all!).
Just because it’s getting warmer doesn’t mean you have to run for the pastel and floral prints. Fear no more – Neutral tones are still very much okay. And yes navy is a neutral! Not only does it work with your Winter burgundy’s but it’s also the perfect companion to team with camel, white and nude tones for the warmer months ahead.
Throw on some lacey sandals and a curl in your hair and you’re half way to Spring!

My obsession for unique cuts continues with the gorgeous wrap top from Azalia Boutique! This stunning piece crosses over at the front with a high collar and a floor length back.
Although it is a statement, it’s wear-ability is no question! Work it in with your wardrobe staples to add your own style. Contrast with bold white bottoms or add a pop of colour with a high waisted skirt or flared pants! If black’s not your colour, this beauty also comes in white (for those more daring!).
One of the best things about boutique shopping is that whatever is in this week is gone next week. Knowing that your piece is one of a kind and a style like no other is what makes what you pick so special! Azalia Boutique always carry a huge range of unique pieces so you’ll never walk away empty handed. If the wrap top is what you’re looking for be super quick to get your hands on one before they sell out!

Culottes have to be my favourite wardrobe piece at the moment. Effortless style and comfort are two things that are hard to get out of one fashion statement. We all know going to an event in winter can be challenging by having to find something somewhat warm and stylish and semi-formal all at the same time!
The Rewind Jumpsuit by Finders Keepers is everything. It features the culotte legs, a crossover front with a tie at the waist and a traingle cut out at the back. It’s the perfect piece to take you from day to night. Simply wear it back with some flat boho sandals and throw on a fedora or dress it up with strappy heels and a contrasting blazer for a fashion forward look. The opening at the back shows a little more skin making it that bit more feminine and perfect for a cocktail event.
Most people find navy (or in this case, I should say blueberry!) a difficult colour to accessorize. Well fear no more! Camel is the prefect contrast to those darker hues. I found my Jupiter Coat by Lioness from online boutique, Sweet Neon. It’s the ultimate style essential and oh-so warm! I went a few tones lighter in these Nia-B block heels by Betts For Her. The lace up detailing is to die for and compliments the tie featured on the front of the playsuit. Did I mention camel is the an awesome tone to transition from your Winter to Summer wardrobe?!

Each month, online fashion mag, Cocktail Revolution release a street style gallery made up of fashion, spotted on everyday people on the street from all over Australia! It’s then put to the public to vote for their favourite style.
For the month of June I was not only lucky enough to be a part of the street style gallery, after being spotted in Rundle Mall, but I was lucky enough to be voted the favourite!
As a part of my prize I won a photo shoot featured on the winner’s profile on cocktailrevolution.net.au and was treated to getting my hair done by the lovely gentleman at Groove Haircutters in Adelaide.
Check out some of the snaps from the shoot above and be sure to head to http://cocktailrevolution.net.au/winners-profile/ for the full shoot and story!
