If there’s one thing that will get you through that mid season schlump it’s your basics… so you better have good ones!
Starting with the shoes (because they are the exclamation point of every outfit!), the EQUINOX ankle boots are the Betts must have this season. When you’re hunting for that perfect pair they should be a height that can be dressed up or down and comfortable for all day wear. I always feel that little bit dressier with a heel but these are the ideal height to wear from the office to dinner to drinks! The V shaped elastic gusset adds that extra touch so it stands out from every other Chelsea boot. You can have them too! Check out betts.com.au
A go-to knit is a Winter essential if you ever had one but this one is that perfect throw over to take you from Winter to Spring. Grey is my wardrobe staple and on high rotation in my wardrobe. I constantly find myself asking shop assistants “does this come in grey?” So the answer to your question, yes I have a grey addiction.
I’m trying to figure out what I wore before Mum Jeans were a thing! Skinny jeans just don’t cut it anymore. Maybe that’s because I’ve cut all of my jeans!! They’re honestly the easiest piece to style in the wardrobe. Any top, any knit, tuck it in and you’re good to go. Throw over a trench or biker jacket for extra warmth and extra style!
Last but not least, a bag you can throw anything into. Anything and everything that is! I feel like Winter requires so many more essentials than Summer. A scarf, gloves, comfort food… what… who said that?
The best basics should be good quality so they can see you through for seasons to come. So invest that little bit extra now and save later! Try to avoid trend pieces for your basics as you’ll be sick of them next season. Basics are supposed to be basic so they can fit with everything in your wardrobe, including the trend pieces.
